yes, I have been trying to coordinate something with jon to get him and tom out here for the next meet. problem in may is tourneys for AGD, the megameet and things of that nature. we are still talking things over. taking it slow, as its not a last minute priority.


we are also trying to work out what field it will be at. if wes has the sup air fields in by may/june, we will move it there (camp paintball). cheaper fees, cheaper paint, lots of field space. hopefully he gets his nitro fill station and all that stuff setup right soon.

otherwise, dan is going to talk to john @ CCPB and try to get a WAY better deal than what we got before.

and this time, there WILL BE A PRE-REG. I am not setting this up again and having 25 people say they could make it, and have only 14 show up. that was unfair to John @ CCPB and HAD tom and jon made it, would have been unfair to them.

we want to get at LEAST 50 people to come to the next event. that way, it lets tom and jon know we are serious about having them at the event.

also, we have to think about those of us playing tourney ball as well. myself, remington, and pat all play on the same team.. so, we know what we are doing (actually, i havent a clue ) but, we want to try and accomodate everyone... so, more stuff there to sort out.

as soon as I hear back from Jon, i will make an offical post about the event, then start taking pre-regs. pre-regs will be NON REFUNDABLE, probably $25, which will go towards field fees and air. there is still stuff to iron out.. so, bank on AT LEAST a $25 pre reg fee.

more details will be passed to you, as i have them and am able to co-ordinate with dan.

ok, heres the low down.

I just shot off Jon another email about this. NO planning can be done till i hear back from him.

heres the problem:

CCPB has great fields, decent prices. prices which we hope to negotiate with the field owner to lower. the day of play (field opens @ 10), we can all invade IHOP, which is right next to the field, and after play, we can hit up any of the seafood restraunts in the area for an AO dinner. There are also hotels right next to the field as well, in the event we want to make this a weekend event. (this is still up in the air)

CAMP has so-so fields, and great prices.. AND are **supposed** to put in airball fields. Wes is a great guy, but I will not plan this here unless I can go to camp and SEE that there are airball fields setup. in the past, wes was **supposed** to have other stuff (like his fill station.. eh pat.. whats up wit dat? ) done, and it wasn't. so, I am hesitant to plan there.

while this thread is not the official info thread for this, there will be a pre-reg for this event. pre-reg will be non-refundable, and will go towards air. more details as they become available, or as i make them up



and yea, thats pretty much it for now. as i said, when i hear back about jon and toms attendance, we will choose a date, and it will probably be held @ the CCPB fields. sorry to those of you that dont want to attend there and such, but, with dan lending a hand, we should get better prices on air and paint than any other field in the state can offer :) (hopefully, and i really man hopefully, dan can talk to the field owner and get the prices rock bottom again.)

i could go for a winter meet since warzone just closed for the season without warning and im dieing to play paintball if someone wants to do something in boston paintball in summerville? id definantly like to go to the big one just make sure its not between january and march hopefully (my mom and i may be making multiple trips down to maryland/virginia area for something i cant tell anyone about ) well i suppose i could tell oldsoldier but he wouldnt care lol

I'm all over this like butter play toast. I've got to defend my Top-Gun title. I'll do what I can to gather the scattered remnants of the Ice Pirates and drag them along. Plus, since I live in Jersey now, any Jersey cats who want to car pool are welcome to come along.

If we can get Jon and Tom, why not see if we can get Capo as well. This is A-ONE-4 and New England has been pretty well stiffed in terms of AGD spokes model representation.

Just a little plea:

A-ONE-3 was nearly rained out. Jon came all the way out for the event and we had a pretty poor showing. Granted, there is no accounting for the weather. Still, Jon was great and we owe him a serious turnout if AGD reps again. So Cowboy Up! Or Ninja Up! Or Pilgrim Up! Whatever, just make the commitment and get your butts there.

Note to the organizers:
The sooner you can get a official date posted the better.

just curious if anyones willing to make the trip to boston paintball field in summerville thats been there before like 2 weeks from now? i always play at warzone and it closed sooner then everyone thought (damn snow!) and the only other field ive ever been to was that stupid pnl field with you guys and i wouldnt know what to do at boston paintball lol
