Okay, after talking to the field owner, I have been informed that the paint cost has gone up for him, which means it goes up for us... he was trying to help us out but he got slapped around himself. As of right now, it will be $35CDN funds per 500balls.... yes I know.. pretty steep... but he is going to look into it some more.... sorry for the bad news... I was caught off guard on this one too...

As normal, I doubt I'll be playing, but as normal I'll pay the field fees, but glad I don't have to buy paint:)

i was tring to come up with some $$ for this and i did but now i cant no way im paying that much for paint unless we get like a free pod of reballs or something.

I hear yah... it hurts me just as much... bear in mind that your money is worth more up here, so its not as bad.. but it itsnt great either

Now... you didn't hear this from me, but if you want to buy some to keep the owner happy and boost that up with your own is entirely up to you... I know NOTHING

i was thinking about that but i dont want to bother for gas money up there then feild fee and that much for paint cuse the whole two days im going to need at least 1 and a half to 2 cases.

after the trip up there and back for gas feild fee, food thats allmost probibly 300 bucks

+ more for others that need a holtel (i would just go back home)

i also understand us $ is worth more but not that much now if it was mabey like 80 i would mabey consider it but 119 is WAY to much.

thats how much i was planning on paying for paint and feild fee

Tell him I'll order him some paint at $45US a case and he can sell it back to us for $60 a case and still make a profit. I mean damn, tell him to go buy some walmart paint and sell it to us 20% over his cost and it would still be half the price.

i know its 90 or so if you by your self and in a group of more than 20 its like 70 a case each

its only 10 bucks a player and cases of paint are 50 bucks for xball bronze and and all day air!!

That whole "my price went up" is the oldest trick in the book. There is a guy here locally that tries to charge $110/case with that same excuse, when we KNOW he's a Draxxus dealer.

Last minute change, big price hike. He could have gone through a different supplier and gotten a less insane increase. He's probably just banking on everyone not cancelling this close to the actual date.
