I make $5.75/hr and have no savings. Plus I am getting a car soon and need to plan for that.

Definately extra lube. I keep two bottles at all times. Can't leave home w/o your lubricant.

Ok, here it is. I make one sarcastic remark at the beginning of this thread, unsubscribe, and next thing I know Jeffy is looking for a ride and I see that I got put down as going.

So, the fact that I might have a passenger makes me figure why not. May as well go to an AO meet one day. But, Jeffy gets another ride. ANd here I was looking forward to half priced gas and a free meal.

Now, do I go or not? Figure why the hell not. But are there still rentals available? And I haven't looked into getting a room yet. Didn't look at the ages of those attending, but I 'm a little passed my sharing a room and getting drunk for the sake of getting drunk days.

Don't get me wrong, I love a good drink and a night of talking nonsence. I've just lost all interest of spending the end of the evening staring into porcelain and contemplating "where does all the liquid come from?" and "when did I eat that?".

I haven't decided if I'll leave Friday or early Saturday morning. Suppose if I leave Friday it'll be late afternoon, which means arriving REALLY late. I'll have to leave Sunday, so the Monday morning business meeting will be brutal.

I don't relish driving alone for 6 1/2 hours. It's always handy to have a screaming passenger to bring you back to the land of conciousness.

So, anyone along the 401 need picked up?

Or do I risk the hitchhikers?

                I don't have a drinking problem. (I drink, I get drunk, I fall down. No Problem. )

But, I have nothing to prove. I survived Engineering Games. A week of waking at 6am, days filled with serious and rediculous physical activity interspersed with Engineering mathematics and activities, drinking games in the evening, and going to bed at 3am or later (or is it earlier at 4am ). Drinking from the moment you get up to the moment you crash at the end of the day.

Boat races are brutal. Engineering boat races are insane. (If I go to AO day I'll tell all what a boat race is)

Yep. She took it to the indoor this week to try it out, and outshot her air tank. She plans to run another case or two through it before Castle Conquest. It's hard to believe she oinly started playing last March!

Bragging about how much you can drink is something that you grow out of. Reminiscing about how much you drank (back in the day before people said "back in the day")and the things you did while drunk, well in the right company that never gets old. That and fart jokes are eternally amusing to all men.

Amen. You get 3-4+ of my old frat brothers together, and thats all we talk about. Farting and how much we used to drink, and all the stupid things we did. Some of us are still reinventing our own legends, but a bunch are old and past their prime.

In all seriousness, does anyone between the field and Montreal need a ride?
