Here's what I'd like to do

5 man teams. We pick the captains. Then all players that want to play in the tourney put their name on a slip of paper and the captains draw names.

5 min games 3 min between

There must be a flag hang, if not both teams loose. If your team looses twice your out of the tourney

Nominate or volunteer to be captain

So what do you guys think?

i like it but i am sure that there are some guys have are coming with their team like mine. if we have teams that are coming, we should get a list of teams that are coming and make a bracket for those and if there are single players, fill in the brackets with them on teams.

and how fair is that to the single players?

yeah...the singles will just get rolled every time. I personally dont care, i enjoy any game with better players. I could get rolled every game and still have fun. but playing with your existing team the whole time would be a little lopsided, but do what ever makes you happiest. I know ill have fun.

I say we nominate random captains and draw random names. It would give us all a chance to get to know each other.

all i was saying is that if a few guys want to play with eachother, then i dont see a problem with that. now if another couple of guys want to play with them, thats fine too. i was just giving us a option. either way i am hella looking forward to meeting everyone and see some tight-*** markers!!

well I think Z-man and steelrat should be captains it's up to them to say yay or nay

i really agree you that last post. Zman for Socal and Steelrat for Norcal. that is a great idea.
