So we've got

1 for FF
4 for Fox Four
2 for Camp

I thought Fox 4 wasn't a BYOP facility?I just checked out their site and I couldnt confirm.

Its in upton, correct? I've been there only once, but they do have a good airball field as well as some kickass woodsball (love the swamp section).

ONly bad thing about that is I'd have to change from my camo to my jersey and pants for airball...

So lets get a talley of how many people think they could make it.

Again I'm no master planner so if anyone knows or can talk to any field owners, please do so and tell us what you've got,

EDIT: I'm changing my vote to Fox 4. I just checked it out, adn if we can get a special group going, it'll be $10 with BYOP and all day air. CAn't beat that.

What about East Side in Taunton

I love Fox4 they're great people there but a little slow at times getting things running. Has anyone thought about East Side Paintball in Taunton, MA. They opened a month or two ago(maybe more). Played there last weekend (all indoor for now) $25 admission/air and paint is $55/60. Games run quickly and pretty efficiently. There was easily 100 people there when I was there. I understand they plan on adding outdoor fields as the weather permits. I would STRONGLY encourage whom ever is organizing this to at least check them out. If not my vote is Fox 4.

Also @ AONE VI there was an issue with Tuna having to pay a fee to vend on site @ CCPB where ever this event is held I would also make VERY certian that there is no issue like this again (there is no one to blame about this other than the field operator, I'm pretty sure he scammed us all). That said will there be any vendor representation?

yea. ccpb was an issue, so, If I get tuna to come out, we need a field that will allow it. I dont know if you guys are aware, but, tuna reported back to Jon the turnout for the event (supposedly, hopefully true). The reason for this was to decide if AGD (tuna) would come back out, more importantly, whether tom and Jon would come out.

Eric and Marco from extreme measures proposed a good idea for the field down in connecticut.

Basically, we can camp out at the field, its BYOP as I understand, and marco and eric might be able to arrange it to have the registration waived. Pretty much, we have an open invitation to Strategy pb in CT. question is, whether you guys want to take it or not. I will start up a poll shortly with field choices and we can all vote then.

This sounds appealing. This might also encourage more of the NY/NJ AOers to attend. It adds to wheelman's trip but he lives in Maine it far away from everything, except Canada

Hey Joey and all of AO,

I will have to check on the BYOP situation at Strategy Plus, im not sure that will fly, but I know Chris will make what ever we need happen and will work with us. he is a great person and it is good field.

It is about 45 minutes from Bradley airport for the traveling folk, 30 minutes from the CASINO'S for an after party BASH and camping is only an option for the stronger at heart!!!

There is a family campground near by and hotels in the area.

Like I said we can make this work and talk to Chris for getting us there and make it affordable for us all.

Lets have a Mini-Scenario this year!

Thanks for thinking of me, lol. but I think Cananda would be a little farther (I'm not that far out into the middle of no where....close, but not quite) as much as I'd love to see it a little closer to home, if you can get a good deal w/ Strategy, I'm game. Of course with the time frame you're thinking of Joey, you making it a tough choice between this and Bike week @ Laconia for me (gotta squrrell away some more cash I guess)

I say screw the Hotels, and get a chunk of a campground somewhere reserved for the whole AO crowd, kick back by the fire and shtuff

Marco, how far is the field from Bristol, CT? If it did end up going down in CT, I have a place to stay in Bristol/Terryville.

The only place ill be able to go to is Fox4.

Ill have a T-boarded Spydermag for you all to fool around with...

Heres why you should go there:
1. Super cheap prices if you get a group rate
2. Very friendly, knowledgeable staff
3. AWESOME woodsball and good airball as well
4. Cheap, quality food can be bought right on the staging area
5. Dont like the food? Scoops (a hamburgers and ice cream shop) is 100 feet away from Fox4.
6. They have a good proshop, with prices that arent crazy.
7. Easy access to portapotties.
8. Free air fills all day long.
9. Rules are enforced well, without being strict and easy to break.

Ive been to Friendly Fire, East Side Paintball, and Fox4, and Fox4 is definitely the best out of all of them. Best field in Massachusetts.
