I just got my license (I'm 17, but a lazy bum lol) but my insurance isn't worked out, plus the car needs some work, so yeah. Still relying on 'rent's for rides.

I'm gonna buy 1/2 a case and hope it lasts me.

So if we can get stuff finalized, I'd really like to know so I can plan accordingly. Also, what time is everyone getting there? I've got to borrow just a revvy and some mask, so I'm relying on everyone else. I'd like to get there bright and early at 8am, but if everyone is getting there later let me know.

Where do you live? I could bring you home around 4-5 if that's what your looking for. I live near STL, so it might not be that far out of my way if your west of Xtreme.

but yeah the other fields closer to me so i work there and they pay VERY well..

but the owner is a , and doesnt think things through when booking liekdo we have enough guns, do we have enough refs etc etc

Chronobreak: Ok, I know which one your talking about...lol.

Canthinkof1: where do you live? I may be able to give you a ride also. I live in North County, so from the field it isnt hard to go about anywhere in the lou. Let us know, maybe someone can help a brother out.

Shane sugggested I come out and play, so I'll see about bringing some extra gear as well just in case. I think I have an extra mask or two and some tanks. I am shooting for around 8:30 to get there.

I've got directions from xtremes site and mapquest, but how hard is it to find this place? Any signs or anything we should look for?

It can't be that hard b/c if you use Google Earth you can see the paintball fields are pretty close to the main road.

you can see the airball fields easily from the road. Its right accross from a ford machenery dealership which you can see a bit down the road as well. Its easy to find.

The first time I went I missed the turn onto the road it's on because there was no sign on it and actually went into Millstadt lol. Otherwise, it's easy to find.

Ugh though, it is looking like it might rain... 40% chance, so I think a bonfire is no go, and I don't want to be out in the thunderstorms later that day so I'll just leave at 2:30pm, no biggie to me and thanks to all those who said they might be able to give me a ride. Goes well with my only-buying-1/2-a-case thing too lol. So that also means I won't need a ride. Right now I'm only worried about frying a friend's gun if I get it wet. I also need to pick up some cleats possibly tonight. Playing in even slightly wet ground is gonna be slippery with all the leaves and mud. Thankfully Xtreme has tarps up (or used to) so if it does rain we can hide out under there.

Well, I'm going to be a wuss and say that if it is raining here when I get up, and the radar doesn't look good, I'm not going to drive for nearly 3hrs to set in the rain.

Call me a weiner if you like, but I play paintball to have fun, and slogging around in the mud and water, freezing my *** off, and likely getting sick is not my idea of fun.

Mayhaps we should shoot for another day at an indoor venue?

I find that the older I get, the much less hard core I get.

It was raining like a mother here when I got up at 8, so I called my friends to see what they wanted to do, and they all bailed on me.

Tired, and not wanting to go alone to play in the rain, I simply went back to bed.

I hope you guys had a good time, and stayed dry.

we had a blast, and it really just sprinkled on us a little. I am sitting at arnold at applebees right now. I had major problems with my dragon-mag, but the short time it did work it was nice. wish you could have been there, I was wanting to see your new frames.

I'll secound Arston, It was a great day of play. A brief shower before we got started but not even enough to make it muddy, the wind was more of an issue, otherwise you couldn't have asked for nicer. Great to meet you guys.

Twas fun. Freaking cocker hated me and kept breaking paint. Andy kept lighting me up with that paint that turns into like wax. I don't think I got anyone out either.

Thanks to everyone for the pizza (shane, right?), hopper (forgot your name), mask (scott), gun and tank (andy), whoever let me shoot the mag (forgot your name too), and for everyone else for a fun day of balling. (sorry to the ppl whose names I forgot, I'm really bad with them)
