Obviously, I'm not there. It took me this long to even be able to post I wouldn't be there. Even the weather mocks me. Stupid school... Beemer, make sure we get as many flags as we usually do on Saturdays.

            Good times at Sams

I just wanted to give a big thanks to the Sams staff for putting together a good game. My buddy and I first started going to Big games in 1989, and were lucky enough to camp out for about 10 game before they stopped that.

We have been out of the sport for about 7 years, and just started playing again this year. And even though the Big game has far less turn out then it used to, the game play is better, and the fellow teammates work much better on the field.

Thanks much, and here is to many more years.

Perfect weather. Perfect paint. Pulled and Hung the flag the first game on Saturday. One of my fellow minnesotans that was with me pulled and hung the flag the 2nd Sunday game. Got the XMod installed on my emag. Shot my emag at 18bps full auto. Got over the shock of seeing my emag spit out 18bps.

All in all a perfect big game.

Gotta love the pink flowered shirt:

(Yeah I know I'm playing super loose, what can I say, I'm lazy at big games).

                    Scott Renshaw Photography:

Scott's images are the ones shot by the photographers with the Big White Canon L glass. They are pro quality and prints are for sale. Those were the ones they were printing at the field. The images from past games are on the site now, the ones from this big game should be avaliable soon.

I also took a few wideangle images from the orientation that I'll post later (I need to resize them, they are huge now).

OK after a bit of viewing the photos from Scott R and Actionphotos.com I have come to the conclusion that Photoreflect is the single most annoying service for print fulfilment. The listings don't work well in Firefox (you can't select a different arrangement of thumbnails). The thumbnails are crazy slow to load, if they ever load completely (I'm on a nice fatpipe, no issues on my side). The preview image is way to small to actually check anything real (can't check focus with something that small). I also take issue at the options avaliable. I suspect that's a photographer's choice tho. Personally I'm not at all interested in any prints, ever. I would consider purchasing a web sized jpg of the images that interest me, if the price was reasonable. I'm not going to pay $40 for a "high resolution digital file". Even worse is that they don't tell you what they mean by "high resolution digital file". If you get the raw file (They we were all shooting Canon gear, so the CR2 file), maybe that price is worth it. If you get a jpeg, even full res, it's just plain crazy.

Sry I couldn't make it out I had a business to run and a landscape job that was worth 4K that I couldn't pass up and it had to be done this weekend when they were gone. I wish I could have made it but I have to pay off the business loan maybe I catch you all in fall. It looked like fun from all the photos.

Also hey if anybody is interested I have a private game in the mix for memorial day in Genesse WI. That's probably the next and the last time I can play till July 4th weekend.
