Florida M&G & Resurection's Birthday Bash

OK folks, I have nailed the weekend down - either Saturday the 29th or Sunday the 30th will be our gathering day.

I am looking for a good field that is reasonable drive from both Tampa and Orlando (Lakeland maybe - Orbital maybe - help me out).

A field that allows BYOP/BYOA would be awesome. Mix of woods and speedball is also a must.

If I can get some kind of commitment I would like to plan an all day affair with food, etc.

I have the devilmag up and running REAL nice (I just found the OMFG setting ) and would be happy to let folks try it out.

I also talked with someone that has played Kohn Sports woodsball
field (I havent, only the airball) and they said its a really thickly wooded
field thats fun to play. Its in south Hillsborough county, east of Ruskin.

i play at paintball experience frequently, and they do not allow byop.

orbital is 25$ entry with air if you byop, 20$ if you buy thier field paint.

the only byop field i know of is in springhill....elite paintball.

Gator allows byop but they charge extra.

I think Paintball Experience is looking to be the best facility when considering price, location, recommendation, etc...

Lee - How well do you know the staff there? Would they be willing to negotiate for a party? What about some folks bringing their own air?

i know orbital does group rates...... kohn might.... i dont rember but they have good prices on paint....good paint

Just to put in my two-cents, Paintball Experience is a great field to play at. I've played there several times and have always had a great time.

What do they fill to ?
I have a scuba tank but I'd rather get real fills.
to 4500. 3000 is ok with the air sipping Ego but doesnt
go very far with a gas hog mag.

paintball experience max's out at 4500, but they have no compressor. so, fills depend on how full thier bulk tanks are.

they do have group rates. www.paintball-experience.com.

sundays are 11-4, saturdays 9-5. they are cool with people bringing thier own scubas, but you have to leave it by the sign in hutch.

field fee is 15$ including all day air. paitn varies in price, figure roughly 50$ or a bit more with price depending on grade of paint. generally heat as rec grade and engage as premium grade.

10$ to byop. no zap allowed.

I have a case of Inferno I didnt use from Kohns field
saturday week ago so I guess I'm flush.
Is it possible to let us know the date this week Resurection ?
I cant make it if its on a sunday, if so I will play this coming saturday somewhere.
If its on saturday the 29th, I wont play again until your get together.

I've been looking at pump markers Lee.
I see a lot of Phantoms with the little teeny feed tubes
and 12 shot CO2 thingys.
I dont think I can handle going from electro to that.
I need at least a full hopper and a small tank.

Got any suggestions Lee ?
