sounds like we are all up in the air about this ... I am willing to take a poll via email to lock down a location and another for the date. Ill make sure my profile is updated with my MSN and email.

What are our options for a place to play?
To give everyone plenty of time to plan a trip lets look at a march date. Does anyone second a March Date??



... I can take my wife to visit her family the weekend this happens ... their fredricksburg so either way ill be driving a little over an hour from there... so you can officially coun't me in.

I'd vote for a spring date for a all of Texas AO meet. That way we can ensure weather is nice and whatnot Jan-Feb usually pretty unpredictable weather for texas.

But between now and whenever we have full blown texas meet ... i say lets have a DFW meet. There may even be enough of us to have a private play date ... if it's at hit and run I'll even ref the party if there's enough interest.

anything around austin/sanantonio is fair ... look at a map it's as close to the middle we have.

I was thinking about lunch time onwards, but I sprained my ankle last night so I may have to bow out...

Alright, sounds good. i'll be out at hit and run next saturday. half the day i'll be playing with the pump people for pump day, the other half i'll be playing regular.

Petty's sounds good to me - The owner has hosted a few AO days already and the fields/courses are good. we should call him and ask him for a date that would be good -- i'd say for sometime in feb/march so its warmer people have time to plan.

March sounds best for me, I'm gonna be moving soon hopefully and would need to get that dust settled before playin.

Altho, I will say that one of the most fun days I had playing was when it was cold and sprinkling a bit of rain, was also at FotR(Fun on the Run). Ahhhhh, the explcitives about CO2 and paintballs the size of plums laying around. *sighs remembering*

What's cold to you? If its anything 50+ I'm game. I can play in colder weather but paint gets a bti brittle and if there is a breeze it can get a bit miserable. The weather has been varying a lot lately here so its hard to say for sure.

March is probably the most sensible time frame to give everyone enough fair warning. I agree that Austin/San Antonio area is the most centralized so I'm leaning towards getting this together at either Petty's (in between SA and Austin) or somewhere else local.
