I usually budget 100 for transportation (from colorado), 65 reg, 65 paint, and then about 70 for food and random expenses..

But I don't use hardly any paint compared to the average person.. Stock Class is AWESOME
        Lo

A lot of the cost depends on how long you are there. The event is all week long, with mini scenario games each day. And these are not small mini scenario games. The game have 300-1000 players. The registraion fee includes play for the entire week and that includes air for the entire week. It's a good value just for the weekend, but if you're there for the week it's an awesome value.

Well my grandparents have a house(sort of a vacation house) that's like 2 hours away from the d-day site so I figure I could be up there all week. Would 500 dollers get me through the week playin most of the mini games?

It's all about how much paint you shoot. Each mini scenario is 2 hours. Most days there are two games. There is a night game on Thursday. You can play in some or all of them. Paint is $65 and $75 per case.

The 1st ID, Big Red 1, is another great unit. I lead the 3rd Battalion Rangers for 4 years attacking Omaha Beach. Omaha Beach is some of th toughest, most intense paintball you can imagine. I'm still partial to the guys on Omaha Beach.

One of the cool things about this game is that there are many great Allied units. The 1st ID is definitely one of those.

Of course there are great guys on the German side. They have good units and leadership too. That's what makes this game so good. The German 6th is the unit the 82nd faced last year. They're well led and organized. And there's lots of other units too. They may not be the unit we face in 2008 but consider them.

BUT...this is an Allied and 82nd Airborne recruiting thread! If you want to run with the best consider the 82nd Airborne!
