It's ok they are just sore from the beat down we gave them last year. I mean not only did the Germans win we made the allies surrender 20 minutes before the game was over.

Jk man thanks for the bump.

Come fight for the 6th we kill more allied airborne by 9:30 am than most units see all day.

All you AUTOMAGGOTS out there looking and wondering about OKLAHOMA D-DAY.

This is were you want to be! the Wehrmacht has a large contingent of AUTOMAGGERS, myself included of course. I am the Command Sargeant Major (Stabsfeldwebel) for the 6th Fallschirmjager Regiment.

If you are wanting to kick ALLIED BACK SIDE, this is the unit for you, even if you don't shoot a MAG, we are a forgiving group. We don't do static defense, we are everywhere on the 700+ acres of the D-Day field. In fact we pride ourselves on being where the airborne units least expect us, and kicking them to the DEAD ZONE. So if you are a hard charger, and love to be out-numbered this is the unit for you.

            GREEN DEVILS!!!!!!!!!

              Outstanding!

My wife and I were with the 6th in 2009 and will be again for 2010 if finances allow. It was my first real game with my mag, and I was hoping to find somebody else there who could give me some pointers. We hit the JACKPOT. Silverback even loaned me an Xvalve for a couple games on the proviso I told no one.

You cannot go wrong joining the 6th. No word of a lie: It really is the meca of Automag paintball today.

                Picture this....

You and your Allied buddies are in middle of an epic battle. You've been fighting through woods for what seems like hours and you're finally on the verge of taking the objective. The scoring window is rapidly coming to a close and you only have enough time to make one last push to turn the flag. You get your group geared up to make the final assault and are about to jump out of cover when...

                Thwap...Thwap, Thwap, Thwap, Thwap....Thwap

You raise your arm, stand up, look around and then shake your head wondering who got you....

                Yeah...that was us...

Join the 6th FJR or "The VALKYRIES" and discover the joys of attacking where you're least expected!

                      Come on AO!

Doesn't anyone here still play paintball?

Seriously though, it would be awesome if we could get a unit full of Automag users. Maybe get it in the magazines

                        Hey guys -

As tournament paintball has evolved into a messy fashion show, I'm just now peering into the world of scenario paintball. I definitely like what I see with OK D-Day. I'm watching the footage on YouTube from OK D-Day, and I have a question (no disrespect meant in the following):

"How do the Germans tear up the greater-numbered Allied forces?"

After all the "Fourth I.D." chants and commotion, I expected to search the records and find consistent wins for the Allies. Alas, that is not the case.

My friends, who are currently door-kicking in Afghanistan with the 3rd Ranger Batt (keep them in your prayers and hopefully they'll make it to the event. Times are getting rougher), and I were going to join the Rangers or OSS for D-Day. After seeing the Allied record, we're having second thoughts. Plus, more people equals more targets.

What sets the 6th apart from the rest? No smacktalk. Just want an honest opinion as to why the record's like that.

I am but a mere messenger, let me humbly submit my 1 year of experience:

First, please log on to http://6thfallschirmjager.ipbfree.com/index.php?act=idx this is our forum and there are those greater than I who could answer your questions.

From my experience there are a couple reasons we do well:
                          1. We (the 6th) get the best & the craziest players. Our guys are the ones who want a challenge, and love having the odds stacked against them. Our job is to shock and awe the allied opposition. We attack the attackers. Last year, when the allied had completely overrun the Omaha beach it was the 6th FJR who rallied the remaining German forces & rushed forward and broke the allied advance, completely removing them from the beach in time for scoring. In my mind this was the moment that turned the tide of D-Day. Honestly we were getting our butts kicked all morning, but on Omaha we made a stand (There are countless other examples, but this had the largest impression on my rookie year mind).

                          2. Adaptivity. To give fair credit, the allied are great strategists, and create some beautifully organized assaults, but as any experienced soldier knows, the planned attack quickly dissembles on a real battlefield. The 6th and Wehrmacht in general have always been a very adaptive group. When the shizz hits the fan we keep our heads and we adapt. We attack where they least expect it. For example: in the final battle at Coleville the allied had pretty solidly pushed back the german army, but then a combined unit of 6th FJR and MEK's swept in on the right flank and annihilated the allied troops responsible for holding the forest flank. We came out on the completely open flank of the Entire allied army preparing for the final push, and due to a lot of smoke grenades and the quickness of our assault the Allied initially had NO idea that they were being slaughtered from the side. When they finally turned their attention to us, a couple of messengers (myself included) ran back to the main German force shouting to atttack. We threw the Allies completely out of coleville and Allied command surrendered 15 minutes before the game was officially over.

                          3. Germans are there to have a good time. We understand & honor the german who fought in WWII with the knowledge that a german soldier was not necessarily a Nazi. He was a brave soldier who fought for honor and his homeland, just like our boys. With this knowledge we are happy to honor some of the greatest warriors in military history. But honestly, we are there to have a fun time. We welcome all troops including the Allies into our camps and wish to socialize and enjoy the great sport of paintball with camaraderie. My commanders will be the first to inform you that we welcome all troops friend or foe to our table.

The 6th is a brotherhood, when I first joined I thought. Well I'll play with these guys this year, and we'll see who I want to play with next year. After one week of enjoying their company on and off the field, I can honestly say that I can't imagine playing with any other unit Axis or Allied at D-Day. These are great people who welcomed me and treated me as an equal from day one.

I honestly recommend creating a user name over on our forum and introduce yourself, ask your questions, etc... you will find our hospitality to be the best.

EDIT: I almost forgot the most important part... We have cookies
