April 1 is the last day for registration if you want to pick your unit. Otherwise you have to go on a 1st 2nd 3rd choice and hope for the best.

You made the Allies surrender? That's just embarrassing and quite ballsy. I commend you, Sir Cato.

The YouTube vids keep saying the event grows a ton every year player-wise. You are the elite paratrooper unit, so your unit doesn't get very big, does it? How many players do you have now?

Good question, I don't know the registration amount this year, but last year we had about 100. Official registration for picking your unit ends tonight. Although we will have special exceptions that we can get pushed through despite staff regulations, please let my command know of your interest over on our forum so we can make sure you are with our unit even if you have to register after tonight.

My command should be able to answer your questions in regards to our strength. I know that we are looking for solid players/groups who can work hard, and stay on the field all day.

              Bump!

Last I checked, the 6th is NOT full. You can still select it as your unit of choice and expect to be put there!

                Matty,

Didn't get over here to see your post.

What sets the 6th apart....tradition. We respect the Airborne tradition and we try to pass that feeling down to the players that join us. No, they are not military, but some of us are/were/are retired. Some players watch Band of Brothers and dream....some of us have lived it.

The 6th plays outnumbered. Some will "claim" they play outnumbered but in reality just run around the field in big heards.

The player cap for the 6th is 175. We will not know 2010 numbers until we have boots on the ground. The average for the past 4 years has been around 125.....although the Allies swear we have more

Players can still request to join the 6th. We will keep recruiting until unit registration closes. But, don't wait too long.

Knocking down doors is a nasty business. Tell everyone to stay safe. Even if you don't join the 6th for 2010, D-Day is a blast.
