Thanks, I was going to look when I got on the boat but started thinking about getting shot half a million times. I was the first or second person on the boat (4th boat over) so I figured I'd just stay low rather than look around.

There were several Double Troubles (tippy a-5s with the firestorm crank) as well.

We should unleash mayham next year.

Just remember to cover the boats next time when I'm trying to snipe someone down the hill dammit!!!! I didn't need to take a four hour lunch after that paintball I ate!!

I think Harris is buying all those A-5's off e-bay so he can make his own double troubles. When you think about it ... it wouldn't be hard with a mounting bracket and a stand.

Well yeah it's all in fun but from what I've seen on this forum and a few others ... Some of the people calling the German side Krauts, were also called Nazi's and spat at during that "parade".

Man I heard about someone being spat upon. If he was in my unit or even standing next to me, I would have smacked the crap out of him. That is one of the most disrespecting things you can do.

I did. He was there the year before as well. He always assaults the wall and raises hell when he hits the beach. However, I dont' recall him making much of an impact this year.

This is my future goal for my dual mag setup...

Just something to make the allies piss their pants when they get off the boats.

I'll just make sure I'm standing behind you next time .... can't believe you're throwing two e-mags into that. At least you need to make sure that the software is updated.

Only to find a pretty wierd defense plan. We Germans left only 11 guys in the "Tower" and a scenario team "Team Tango" of about 20 guys to defend the place. Everybody else was told to fall back and defend Firebase Alpha. I heard later that the attackers had no problem with St Lo but then left it unattened so at the time when the points were to be awarded the couple germans that had been sent back were given the points for St Lo.

I also heard that the Germans "kept" the wall because there was some germans still on the wall at the time. I can't say these are the hard truths. Just the rumors that were floating around Saturday.

No biggie. It was my second time to D-day and first time to actually see St.lo. and I was more than happy to hear we were moving out. StLo is just way to open for my taste for trying to defend. No place to really make a last ditch stand. You are not going to be able to fit a hundred guys into that two-story tower. I am not that close to my teammates.

My only problem with the "German Command Structure" there at StLo was that for the first hour/hour-half all I heard on the radio was "IUKA8 to IUKA3 Where are you?" After that all i heard were a few kids and people's "roger beep" no rally calls or new assignments or even a new rally point once Alpha fell. I had no idea that the StLo defenders had tried to go back to StLo. My ONLY beef is that there seemed to be a lack of communication. Otherwise all the commanders seemed to have a good idea as to what was needed, when I had the chance to over hear some conversations.

Well.... Shoot you on the flipside.
