lol that is too high. I have no idea why it didn't work before, maybe your tank was low, or something like that. Do you have a male reg?
rt/pro to x-valve?

Do you have any shims in the on/off? More shims makes more bounce in an RT on/off. If they go in stock without shims, they have less bounce than with shims. New seals and lube probably shook it all loose. Did you try the on/off that came with the x-valve?
1200 psi puts you in big bounce territory, but you should be able to either pop the trigger light enough or hold it down hard enough for semi-auto.Last edited by Spider-TW; 08-09-2007, 02:08 PM.Comment

He's not getting a reg to make it more consistent, he needs to take the pressure down. Another reg won't do anything bad.Originally posted by athomasDon't install an additional regulator. There are 2 already, one in the tank and one in the mag valve.
Your problem is most likely a worn sear.Comment

No need for a third reg. Each one causes a restriction. You need at least 200 psi between regulators to maintain consistentcy and recharge rate.Originally posted by questionfulHe's not getting a reg to make it more consistent, he needs to take the pressure down. Another reg won't do anything bad.
The problem is the 1200 psi output from the tank. This should be fixed rather than adding a line resptriction. Remove a shim or two from the tank regulator to lower the output pressure and bring it down to 850psi where it should be. The gun should be set up to use any standard bottle.Except for the Automag in front, its usually the man behind the equipment that counts.Comment

Well he would have well over 200psi between, though adjusting the tank is a much better option. I just don't know much about tank regs, so I didn't know if his was adjustable.Originally posted by athomasNo need for a third reg. Each one causes a restriction.
