Help With It Body!!!

I machined a short slug into a ripper for a guy and the 10-32 tap drill hole went into the breech. If AGD thought it was good enough to ship a slug like that then it should work fine. you could always put a little JB weld on it.

Why should he have to mess with jb weld or helicoil the body? He was not told the issues the body had, the seller should have disclosed all info. He is not satisfied and I can see why.

Wow, man....I hope that you will post up this guys username so we don't get hung up in a shady deal like that with him.
At the very least if he doesn't make good on your end.
Damage like that, whether it affects performace or not, should be fully disclosed.

I haven't been the market for one, but $250 seems extreme for an IT body even in immaculate shape. You do know there are issues with that body due to not having the metal ring and clip?
Although the lack of knowledge about that part is on you for not reseaching and knowing, not him.

In the future make sure that you are asking all the right questions, especially things like, is it functional, comes with all parts, etc. (xvalve). Also make sure you deal with people that have good feedback. Forums are not nearly as trustworthy as buying from a store.

Well he had pretty good feedback but only about 5 or so on here, i dont want to disclose his name unless he doesnt make good. if he makes good with my parts and money then we can call it a wash.
the steel ring was included with the body.

I just wont really do mail trades anymore hes literally on the opposite end of the country from me so its not like i can stop by ha ha. And atleast with ppal you can dispute

when he responded to the issues he basically said when he got it it was like that and he was just gonna use a ult so he figured thats what i was gonna do. it also worried me that it was never aired up so i opened it up and there was teflon tangled in the internals, probably an easy fix but not really what i would expect for close to 300 bucks! Bare in mind i paid a healthy chunk extra to have a colored valve, just seemed like poor reasoning to me. plus i saw a sale thread he had where he sold a ult on off so i assume thats what happened to it. i had asked for extra pics but he never sent me a shot of the bottom of the valve .i didnt think the on off would be missing especially for the price i paid

the worst part of all of this... the valve was for my girl so shes been bummin over this because she sold her valve to pay for some of this and when it got there she couldnt even use it. shes new to the sport and just got her first mag from chaos theory it was a great deal and a beautiful gun. (its mounted on her wall)

AND AGAIN I CANT THANK ALL YOU GUYS ENOUGH FOR YOUR HELP IN THIS MATTER I THINK IT MADE ALL THE DIFFERENCE!!!!!!!!!
