What size Tap Do I need?

Hi everyone, this may seem like a stupid question, and I hope it's a simple answer, but what size tap do I need for a 1/8 fitting? I was going to tap my vert ASA for a Tickler and just wanted to make sure that I bought the right tap. I know when it is 2 numbers the first is the size and the second is the # of threads per inch, ie: 6-32 - is a size 6 and 32 threads per inch. Thanks everyone.

You need a 1/8-27 NPT tap... like this.

I've been told that you can find them in the plumbing section of Home Depot or Lowes (although I've never had any such luck ).

I went through this exact conversation not too long ago. Here's the thread.

Ace carries the drill and tap as a set.
