ya, a few weeks ago at my store i asked the guy how a minimag functioned. he said that "it functions kinda like an automag". i asked him how an automag functioned, and hes like "well, its got this... sear... and this... bolt..." he obviously had no idea at all. but i know basically how they function now, thanks to a few well-made .gif files
so i might be getting a mag....

That's for damn sure. I called a local store asking about parts to rebuild my 'Mag (which has been on mothballs since '94') and the guy on the phone said, "Mags are on their way out." What a moron. I guess my 'Mag has been on "its way out" for 16 years now (I bought it in '92.)Originally posted by smoothiceAnother few days on AO and you will know more about mags then most store owners.Comment

well right now all i want is a right pf mag. ill worry about ups later. which even still, im not super hardcore into woodsball, so just a sight mounted on top works for me. so ill get a q-loader before i get a new body, if i even get one at all. and even if i get a new body, ill probably just get a warp left ule body. ill save money, and chances are i wont use all 3 rails at once on a tac one body anyway. but ive done some more thinking about what i want to do, and im probably going to start out with a foregrip/sight rail, and (unless it has a doube finger frame already) getting a y-frame.
for those of you who use a y-frames mag, how does it compare to a standard 45* frame? i picked up my cocker with 1 hand earlier, and saw that in the natural position my hand angled backward. so im guessing that for shooting, the y-frame is more comfortable? i think it looks badass too and would be a real head-turner. id be willing to bet that 50% of the regular players at my field have never even seen an automag. none of my paintballing (speedball noob) friends had ever heard of one, so im guessing ill get a lot of commentsComment
