    ridiculous barrel quest

Im looking for an outrageously long barrel (more than 30 inches ) with cocker threads so I can intimidate the spoiled children who wield them fancy Ions and Autosprayer 3000's and the like at the local field . Does anyone have an idea as to where I can acquire such madness?

I know back in the day J&J would cut barrels to any length... give them a call... Who knows.

it'd be more of a novelty item for more experienced players but I think it would be great to see the look on those 13 year old noobs who just rely on autofire to save their lives

I don't see where barrel length would cause intimidation.

Seems to me, when I played down in MD... a pack full of pods and an extra two or three cases of paint down on the field does that just fine. After a couple of games, all the kiddies there had their guns and hoppers all "go dead" at the same time... even kids who "play on teams" wouldn't play with us anymore. How sad.

Oh yeah, if you and a few of your friends have matching gear, that seems to work too.

Might try stiffi. They advertise that you can get a barrel in pretty much any length. They advertise a 23" barrel.

Holy hell, $300 for some brass.

I think 30 inches might be a little much, unless your attaching it to a milsim marker. I would just got for the opsgear interceptor barrel at 18 inches for $22 brand new from opsgear.com. unported so it makes a nice fpum! sound.

as i recall the optimum length for most cases is 10-12 inches. with a 30 inch barrel you may not even be able to turn the velocity up high enough to overcome the added length that friction will be acting upon your ball. my opinion also, is that the longer a ball stays in a barrel, the greater the chances of it breaking in there will be.

it is fun to be visually intimidating, but i agree with the idea of walking out there with a truckload of pods and tac looking carry gear.
