it is fun to be visually intimidating, but i agree with the idea of walking out there with a truckload of pods and tac looking carry gear.
It could be done with a different gun, but the problem is that it might have to accelerate the ball to such a high velocity along the useful barrel length (7") that it would break the ball. If you want that, you would probably need a low-pressure gun (sub 50 psi, non-fad) and a incredibly long time for gas-on (dwell). Maybe a Nova?

I had a 21" barrel on a spyder clone when I first started, but 30" is most likely problems. If you feel spendy, you can get a 23" stiffi barrel in A-5 threads http://cgi.ebay.com/NEW-23-SNIPER-ST...QQcmdZViewItem
Or theres some 21" nonamers on there around 25 bucks

sometime last summer a guy on MCB made a 3-4' barrel to put on his sniper pump(IIRC) he could not get the velocity past 180fps due to the drag/suction that the barrle caused.

He purchased a barrel on ebay. IIRC it was a thriller or something like that. He had to buy multiple barrels, and make it. IIRC it went:

autococker back /spyder front on the first back. Spyder back / spyder front on the next ~8 pieces. The front had spyder back threads, and was 21".

I hope that made since. IIRC he ended up spending ~ 150 bucks. It was hilarious seeing pics of him tring to get it around bunkers. He finally found that it worked best if he layed down, and rolled from side to side to change sides on the bunker.

I will find the link later if you dont find it first.

Longest I've seen is a 22 inch. It was a Taso Stone Cold II .
          Theres a 20 inch on Ebay :

The problem is you cant hug a bunker, you have to stand way back, making you a better target.

if it's for a mag... anything 8-10 inches without ports should work nicely.

I recall seeing a 24" A-5 barrel, on ebay, but it was a couple years ago. Don't remember the brand.

Probably those tiller barrels, They had those on ebay all the time with outrageous colors and lengths available. Pretty cheap though, I never thought to try one out.

Im not sire the Diska loudener would do anything. Maybe a Air America intimidator would suffice, though i have no idea whee you would find one other than eBay.

I had a 3 foot piece of PVC painted black that I slipped over my KP rifle. It fit perfectly over the barrel but did not interfere with the contact of the ball. I took it out one day, all of these kids thought it was a Barrett 50 cal. and started shivering. It was hilarious.

That was me. It's a kingman hammer with 5 ebay 22inch 'sniper' barrel backs and a front. The crappy barrels use a kingman thread to mate the front and back pieces. The best way to make an 30" barrel for intimidation purposes would be to add a sleeve over a barrel you have now. I'd get a long piece of 3/4" or conduit and glue or tape it onto a stock barrel. This way you would still maintain velocity.

If you want loud, a poppet type, high pressure gun is going to be the loudest. Also a short, unported barrel will increase volume. Another thing to look into is a loudener. These are trumpet devices that attach to the end of the barrel. I have one called an AA intimidator it makes my trraccer really loud.
