You CAN walk an automag, but you have to learn your gun first. Automags are very reliable guns and shoot ANY kind of paint VERY well. One of the reasons that Automags got the bad rap for breaking paint is that NEW Automag owners DO NOT fully pull the trigger / short stroke, and therefore break paint.

I have rapid fired my MAG with YEAR OLD "EVIL" (VERY BRITTLE)paint without a break, and no level 10. (emptied the hopper),BUT you have to know your gun. If you "Short stroke" a mag it will break paint even with a level 10.

Start slow with the trigger, and instead of "pulling" the trigger, "slide" your finger down the trigger. You will have less chance of a short stroke, and fast will come faster.

Also if you have the shims for the ULT it will hold six (ULT shims are half the thickness of LVL 10 shims) shims, put in six shims, then remove one until gun fires, that should have the trigger as light as it will go.

BUT THE MOST IMPORTANT thing is don't short stroke the trigger (Trigger most completely activate).

BTW - Where is the paint breaking? Bolt or down the barrel, if it's NOT on the bolt, your not short stroking. Down the barrel could also be TOO LARGE a paint for your barrel diameter.

NOW THAT YOUR COMPLETELY CONFUSED, GO OUT AND SHOOT SOMETHING!!!

Any questions PM me I'll help out anyway my 15 years of shooting a mag will let me...
