Ok here is my problem. I screw my tank in and the trigger goes forward but after that nothing I can pull it nothing (sometimes it will chuff like it low on air). I bought this gun off a friend of mine who had it sitting around for a year. Ive lubed it and took it apart everything looks to be ok. He also had the lvl 10 kit but he said that he couldnt get it to work so he put the stock stuff back in. I dont know whats up but I really want this thing to work.
RT-Pro wont fire

Hmm, have you tried screwing in the velocity nut further? It sounds like not enough air is getting in to the marker which would cause the trigger pin to be pushed foward but the marker not to fire. Also, check to make sure your tank is screwed in all the way. Also, check to make sure you are not using a LP output pressure tank. The RT needs a recommended 600-800 psi to work. Also, check to make sure that no lvl 10 parts got left in the power tube such as shims. Although, that would most likely cause the marker to leak down the barrel. If the RT Pro is not leaking at all, check my first 3 suggestions. If those do not further help the situation, report back. Most defiantley sounds like the RT is not getting enough air though. It could also be an on/off problem but that would also cause leaking in the most likeliness though. -

Tried what? He offered 4 suggestions. Which ones did you try?Originally posted by chibi.penguin85Ok I tried that and it has a tiny leak down the barrel.
Help us help you. Be specific.Comment

I tried all 4 of his sugestions. I have a HP output tank, its screwed in all the way (even tried different asa's), The velocity nut didnt change anything, and I found no lvl 10 parts in the power tube. It has a small leak down the barrel (I cant hear it (Ear Infection) but my Brother says he can). Hope that helps. Oh I also changed some o-rings in the value, it fired 2 good shots then nothing. Thanks for all the help. (I also put a minimag value in my body and it fired just fine)Comment

First, mags act screwy when starved for oil. 2-3 drops in the ASA before gassing up, remove barrel (unless you feel like having an oily barrel), fire 20 or so shots. Done. Now we have a baseline.
To see if it is bolt stick, when it locks up, push the bolt all the way back with a squeegie. Does it reset the bolt and then fire fine again for a few shots?
If so, you need a new bolt spring is all, or maybe a correct/new power tube spacer/spring.
Give that a try and let us know. Best of luck.Comment

Tried to put some drops of oil in the asa and nothing happened. Still no cycling. It still leaks down the barrel but it is a very small leak. My tank is a crossfire 68/45 with a red reg(I think that it is HP). But when I get home from work ill try to replace more o-rings(I'm on lunch). Ah hopefully I can fix it before the weekend. I also tried to push the bolt back and it didnt move.Comment

Hmm. Ok, well, this is the only other thing I had happen that sounds like your problem. A bad powertube o-ring or a missing powertube o-ring. Unscrew the powertube tip, the brass tip on the tube that the bolt slides over. You can use a nickel or quarter to unscrew it. Make sure that the powertube o-ring is behind your spacer. So it should be the powertube tip that unscrews, spacer, than o-ring inside. Make sure it is not missing or that someone has not put the o-ring around your powertube tip. If you are missing the o-ring or it is worn out, it will not catch the bolt causing just to sear to catch it and it will go up a bit too far causing the marker to leak and the marker not to fire aswell. Put a new one in, you can grease it or just oil it, squirt some oil down your powertube and let us know. Hope that helps. We are running out of options here. The only other things it could be is bad on/off o-rings or missing parts. I would think bad on/off o-rings would cause leaks out of the on/off, and o-rings anywhere else would cause leaks in those general palaces. Does the marker fire now? It is most likely a powertube problem, probably just your o-ring.Comment

I replaced the power tube o-ring and it still does it. I am going to replace the on/off o-rings then see what it does.Comment

A leak out of the barrel with the trigger in the neutral position is an indication that the bolt stem isn't sealing against the powertube o-ring inside the powertube.Originally posted by chibi.penguin85Ok it shot a few mins ago but Leaked bad out of the barrel!!! This is primarily caused by a dry/bad powertube o-ring.
A second cause can be a cracked/damaged/worn sear that won't hold the bolt all the way back so that it may seal against the powertube o-ring.
A third cause can be a worn bolt where the sear engages it. Most aftermarket bolts would wear down quicker than an AGD bolt as AGD bolts are made by magical elves.

I replaced the o-ring. My sear works fine with a Minimag valve. The bold is the stock RT-Pro. I will check the bolt.Comment
