My point was that using O2 as a propellant would be, at worst, minimally more dangerous than using N2. The amount of O2 exhausted in each shot would so rapidly dissipate that there is essentially no risk. I have discussed O2 as a propellant with my gas supplier, he pointed out that the cost is the prohibitive factor, not the danger.
There are other gases, Argon is one we have also discussed, which might work better, but once again, cost is prohibitive.
