Yes it has been oiled and the power tube o-ring replaced. I think I am just going to put it aside for a while. Maybe put it on eBay. Seems like my decision not to buy one until now was well founded. I know it is probably something simple, but tracking down all of the stupid little spacers an other BS parts is not for me. I had read up on Automags before buying this one and thought a simple o-ring would fix it but it has turned into a bigger headache than I want to deal with. On another note, one of the times I had it apart I seem to have dropped the damn barrel retaining pin and can't find it. Now I need one of those too.

Like I said, more hassle than I want to deal with right now. Just going to throw it into the closet until I decide what to do with it.

Thanks to everyone for your help and suggestions trying to get it fixed up and running. I just don't have the patience, parts or the knowledge to get it done

Ok so I have not quite given up yet. I bought a spacer kit and tried all of them one at a time. I could only get it to fire once with 2 of the spacers. .025 and .020 IIRC. It seemed like it did not recharge or something.

      Any more ideas?

      Thanks.

If the trigger rod did not return, that is because of bolt stick. Sounds like you need a new bolt spring and/or a longer spacer. See this post by athomas: http://www.automags.org/forums/showp...50&postcount=3

A used mag could probably need a new bolt spring. Bolt springs and o-rings are available in the $20 automag parts kit.

I am using HPA from a high output regulator.

I have a new bolt spring and replaced all of the o-rings from the kit.

Thanks for the link, I am looking at it now.
