So I have a couple pump mags, a gen 1 which has the round pump rod. It flawless, buttery pump stroke, no leaks, no issues. Point being I sorta know how to setup a pump mag.
Now in comes pump mag number 2. I had a ULE body, benchmark frame, taso factory milled rail, and a gen 2 pump kit(oval pump rod). For starters the pump stroke sucks compared to the gen 1, just not as much rotation. Anyways, no matter what i seemed to do, even clipping a spring, it shot semi. Changed bodies from home job pump mills to factory pump mills, still semi. Tryed 3 different valve, In the process i found a level 6 or 6.5 valve complete with the power tube spring(sweet). So after switching all the obivous parts out a million times I decided to switch out the next pieces, grip frame and rail. Replaced the factory taso rail, with a factory milled agd rail, put everything back together....NO MORE SEMI?!?!
This made me happy and sad at the same time. The taso rail has some nifty milling, and is sorta rare, but it doesnt work.
Has anyone else come to this conclusion? Any issues with a taso rail?
