    RT-X Pro mag huge leak

Just got an RT-X Pro mag. I have tried 3 different tanks (PE 45/45, PE 68/45, 13/30) so I don't think it is with the tanks. Okay, now to the leak. Before the tank is even screwed all the way in (for some reason the asa doesn't "turn off" when I flip it off. . .) it sounds like an explosion and then it leaks from the bolt area to the feedneck area.

Any ideas? I can get a vid if that helps.

I haven't been able to screw the tank in all the way so IDK if it fires. Sounds like the leak is too big to fire. Making a vid now.

Do you have a different ASA you can try, the one your using doesnt seem to be working right, and its always easier to analize a problem when you fix all the things you know dont work right

The asa isn't the problem - no leaks at least. The asa's pin just strikes the tanks pin no matter what. I can fix that later.

          Video is uploading.

              Have you oiled it recently?
I noticed in your vid that the trigger rod doesnt move at all, try changing the frame screw and field strip screw tightness and see if it pops free

I am relatively new to mags so I will try. The gun was oiled before it was sent to me and I can tell that there is oil on the gun.
Changing the field strip screw and frame screw, which is which?

just try slightly tightening (and if that doesnt work try loosening) the field strip screw, its the large headed one at the back of the frame
the front frame screw is in the trigger guard in front of the trigger
if either of them is to tight or loose it will cause problems

Obviously with the ASA lever off and then screwing the tank in, it shouldn't leak. I would try a different on/off ASA first for sure. All the tanks you tried are High Pressure with at least 1000 psi?

edit:// I don't know about the pressure of the tanks but they are all high pressure. I will try loosening and tightening the screws and try again.

Okay, I got the trigger pin thing to stick out. I aired it up and there was a small leak but there was no huge leak, this time it was more of a click followed by a small leak. the trigger pin popped out like it is supposed to so I took a shot and then the air just gushed out.

edit:// To get the trigger rod out I just took the trigger contraption out and stuck it through the hole. Now it pops out each time I air it up.

Okay, I loosed the frame screw and field screw and there is now only a very small leak. Almost unnoticable. One question about it though, if I touch just about anything it affects the leak, if I touch the feedneck, macro, anything the leak changes. It seems to be very touchy.

Tried shooting it. the bolt goes back and forth, occasionally sticks forward and leaks. I put paint in it but the bolt basically just pushes the ball forward.

                            Progress, thats good
Sounds like your Level 10 needs to be tuned
did you get spare parts with the marker? most specifically extra level 10 cariers?

Yeah, I had several extra parts. I will get a pic now of what I have.
