AO: We are back from the dead... again! After an 18 day outage, we are finally alive and well. Who knew how complicated updating software/databases from 2008 would be. I still have alot of tweaks to make, but my main goal was getting everything patched and updated to 2026.
Vbulletin 6 has changed alot since 2008 so we will have a ton of new features to dig into.
I get the notion there may be more than one issue enacting on the gun simultaneously. I wonder about the condition of the sear, but for sure it sounds like somewhere in the regulator is where the main issue lies.
Your reg piston, is it greased? On the very back part of the gun you need to use grease there. The regpin could very well be bad (sticking) which could cause the gun to leak out the back, but the fact that it doesn't want to fire confuses me. Again I think there's separate issues that are combining on this one. If you know anyone else with a similiar mag maybe try swapping parts this way and that to see about isolating the problem?? That may be the best approach before you go and buy a whole bunch of random parts...
Do a complete disassembly, reclean and reassemble. Wipe down all surfaces and inspect orings for debris. Make sure all orings are going in there proper locations when you reassemble.
Except for the Automag in front, its usually the man behind the equipment that counts.
I may have a wrong size oring in the wrong place. but idk. im ready to either throw this gun as far as i can or send it to somewhere to have them rebuild the reg. I worked b4 i rebuilt it, not nothing. so obviously i did something wrong
Im short on money at the moment, so that is 1 thing that is killing me.
