Following on my hybrid mode thread earlier, why has a pneumatic hybrid marker with an e-mag sear and trigger travel switch not been created before?

With the LPR turned off:
You have "M" mode which is pure mechanical.

With the LPR turned on:
You have "P" mode which is pure pneumatic.
You have "M" mode which is pneu-RT hybrid.

You just need to tune the pneumatic piston so it simulates finger pressure, since the RT valve kicks back with more than finger pressure, no?

I've thought about this a bunch of times too..

Unfortunately, there's probably no easy way to mechanically let the sear reset the trigger while still being able to trigger the pneumatics w/o pushing on the trigger rod.
The HES in the E-Mag will fire before the trigger rod has any pressure on it.

I have thought of a few other ways to create an RT-like pneumatic trigger but haven't tinkered with anything yet. I should test some of my ideas out soon

there is two of use trying to bring it to life.

I already have a prototype done up. but it still requires some changes before i start offering it.


The other person working on it was P8ntbal4me. though i think it might still just be on the drawing board for him.
