The one thing a force fed hopper gives you is the ability to do a quick double shot. Its the second shot immediately following the very first shot that causes problems. In a gravity fed hopper, the shot just isn't available, especially if the gun is tilted on an angle. Once a gravity fed hopper gets up to speed, it can do quite well, but again, only if it is vertical.

I used to out shoot my x-boarded revy all the time using my classic mag. Its not because I could shoot 15 bps. I couldn't with the classic, but I could get a couple of quick shots in succession which caused the problems.
Except for the Automag in front, its usually the man behind the equipment that counts.

True, I actually run a warp on mine most of the time with intellifeed so I never really have issues with quick shots in succession.

Alright guys my mag finally arrived and I am very excited to get going. I have a slight delay though because there is no current hook up for air on the setup.

Where can I get the stock vertical tank receiver for an original micromag? Mine did not come with one so I have no way to hook up air : (

PTP has vertical adapters that fit a gasthru foregrip, but until then you can always do what most emag owners do; run air from an ASA directly to the valve. Any bolt on ASA should work just fine for that purpose, though I suggest something that has an air port on the side...

I appreciate all the help guys!

On a side note who has experience with Armson Stealth barrels? I think I might pick up a 13inch rifled/ported barrel for my mag.

Never had a problem with Armson barrels. I've been using them since the unported muzzle-break model came out for the VM68, and they're incredible. I would suggest getting the kit rather than a one-piece, though, seeing as paint varies so much these days.

A kit is ideal, but if you do get a single barrel, make sure it is a large bore. A large bore will shoot anything, but a small bore only likes small paint.

I found a J&J elite kit on Ebay that was cocker threaded. I have been very happy with it so far.

Thanks for all the help...I ordered some new stuff today including a new vertical adaptor and a 16 inch stealth from PTP. I am very excited to get the stuff in. I am probably going to get a RPG gas through foregrip and my next buy will be a RT valve and level 10 kit.

PS my mag came with a 16 inch stiffi carbon fiber ported barrel but I don't have an air connection so I don't even know how that barrel will perform.

Your order was shipped yesterday. Let us know if you have any questions on setting up the vert. we have had good success with that. In the start of this thread you were talking about 45 frames. We actually have spacers for the RT frames to fit for a reg mag. Just for FYI.

Just got an email saying the order was delivered!!! quick service for UPS ground!

I am curious about what double trigger frame will fit my Gen 2 micromag...My goal is an RT valve and double trigger for my setup...Can you steer me to these two components?

Pro Team Products gets a huge shout out for customer service!!!

My vertical air adaptor came in and everything worked great but the braided line was about an inch short. I let Tracy know and the next day when I got back from work I had the correct length hose at my house.

                                Thanks Tracy!!!
