      it's for resetting the sear for when you need to remove the valve.
      yes, I've noticed Used it a couple of times already

        I was wondering how I'd do that once I have the Cheater installed, glad to know there's already a solution in place

            I used to curse the gods every time I had to remove my grips to trip the sear....

                  I've been wondering what that hole was for. I love the engineering and forethought that went into this.

                      i think you are right on that one because i remember magnus saying that he had added those slots for the lpr hose, i used it for that purpose when i mounted the ram in mine frame
