start by holding the trigger if the leak stops its in your powertube, if it leaks while you hold the trigger its in the on/off

        Level 10...

Ill test the trigger but I noticed that that sometimes I can shoot the leak out but then a few shots later it comes back...I'll do the trigger test and report back thanks guys!

A leak with the same description had been bugging me. Sometimes it would go away, then other times it would have a small hiss. Last night, I changed the o-ring carrier on the level 10 to the next size smaller = leak gone!

Remove a shim or two from your powertube. That will probably fix it. If not then you need to use the next smaller carrier size. Always use the same white carrier oring when changing carrier sizes. Its the oring that you are adjusting, so you need to use the same one in each carrier. If you do need to change orings, you need to retune and use the largest carrier that does not leak with the new oring.

maybe I need a service pack or something for my valve? I bought it used (came with my emag valve) and it did not come with any instructions/spare parts/shims etc.

If you don't have a spare parts kit, you should get one. You should have an oring kit, a spare bolt spring, and a set of carriers and a couple of carrier orings. If you don't have any shims, get a couple of those too, but I wouldn't worry too much about them.

I do have the stock bolt/valve but I am not sure how many of those parts are inter changeable but I could use any parts that are in a pinch...I will get a parts kit thought and try and get this leak straightened out.

If its a stock retro valve, then the orings will fit. If it is a stock classic valve, the orings won't fit. The bolts, springs and level 10 parts are the same for both types of valves.

Thanks! It is a stock classic valve not an RT valve so I guess I can use the parts from the bolt but not the valve...recommendations for a good place to pickup a full service package for the bolt/valve??

You mentioned putting an emag valve in your micro and that it was leaking down the barrel. I assumed you meant that one.

Anyway, you can get a parts kit directly from AGD. To save on shipping, it is probably less expensive to get it from Tunaman here on AO.

                          .

Yes I did mean that one...I was saying that my parts valve would be a classic mag valve with factory bolt.

Ok. I see now. The bolt parts are interchangeable, but only from level 10 to level 10 or from level 7 to level 7.
