Is there any good way to run an automag on co2, i live in an area where it is hard to find air so i might need to go off of co2, whats the best way to make co2 safe for the gun?

This is the forum for trouble shooting your Airgun Designs products, including the Automag, RT, E-Mag, and WarpFeed. Also a great place to ask technical questions about non AGD products. An Airsmith's homeroom!

You can consider adding a Palmer stabilizer (www.palmer-pursuit.com) and an expansion chamber. I've heard good things about Minimags that run on CO2 using these two add-ons; however, I run mine on HP...so I can't talk from experience, sorry.

Phaze, I see that you live in Arkansas. Where are some good fields there? Im looking to play around the little rock area and any field is fine.

                Mags,

I only know of two fields at the moment: T-Square in Jacksonville (which is about 20 mins. NE of LR) and Paintball Arkansas in Mayflower/Conway (which is probably about an hour NW of LR) PB Arkansas has over 100 acres to play on. Unfortunately, I haven't played at either place. I'm still pretty new to AR, short on $, and wanting to upgrade my Mini and my gear before I get back on the field. I hope this helps out. But hey, keep in touch with me, either PM or email, and we'll set up a time to kick some @$$ together sometime. Where are you at in TX?

What's this big deal about a secondary reg on a mag? What would that do? I don't see in any way how it would not work or be harmful to the gun?!

I don't know if there are any ad/disadvantages to a 2ndary reg. All I know is that I read in a thread (poetic prospect?) that a stabilizer, such as Palmer's, used with an x chamber and CO2, would make a Mag sing. Actually, that's what Army said, and since he's a moderator, I figure he's got to know something, right?

Mags, I do know that both of those fields fill HP--whether or not it's actual nitro, I don't know. I know when people say "nitro," they mostly mean HP, but some people actually use the nitrogen gas.

For directions to PB Arkansas, here's their link:
                          www.paintballarkansas.com

Here's a link for some info on T-Square:
                          www.geocities.com/Colosseum/Field/9188/ftslocal.html

You can call them for directions. I work with a few guys that play @ T-S often and they say that it's a decent field. They boast 40 acres and I know that they have a few structures. Hopefully the $ situation will be looking better here shortly. I'm going through withdrawls...

I dont mean to be a jerk, but what do you call the regulator on your HP tank? Just do a little surfing around this forum and you'll see that everyone suggests a double regulated setup...
