Probably just needs the trigger and HES setup properly. Adjust the trigger stop first so that you get the trigger pull that you want. Then adjust the HES trigger magnet to activate within the trigger movement that you have. Make sure your trigger magnet is attached in the proper orientation. If it is backwards, it will not work.
Except for the Automag in front, its usually the man behind the equipment that counts.

To start, back the trigger screw out as far as it will go. Put the gun in manual mode so that the trigger will move past the stop point of the trigger stop. Place the magnet on the trigger adjuster. Take out the valve. Turn on the gun. Hold your finger down on the on-off part of the sear to put it in the reset position. With the magnet attached to the trigger, pull the trigger in. The solenoid should click. With each release, push the sear back into place with your finger. If the solenoid does not activate, reverse the magnet and try again. If it does activate, turn the gun to electronic mode. Adjust the trigger magnet so that the trigger pull activates the electronics within the trigger pull movement.

You should be able to get a magnet locally. They are just neodymium rare earth magnets. Find some in the correct size and you are good to go. The trigger magnet is the same as the one you are using now.
