Your main bolt spring is what governs how gentle the bolt is on paint and a lvl 10 doesn't differentiate between Mech and E-Mode. It should work as advertised in either mode.

Even if something was off in the lowers, the lvl 10 should just trip over and over. Replace your bolt spring and try it out again.

After a bolt spring wears down, the marker will still function (usually) but the lvl 10 will act like a 7 which will not stop on a jam. Just toss a new bolt spring in there (preferably the red or gold spring) and see if your still blending.

Do you happen to have a powerfeed body? If you have a bad PF plug, that will cause blending issues or activate a lvl 10 at an annoying rate.

A properly setup lvl 10 should/will alleviate 99% of chops.

Is it chopping or are the balls breaking in the barrel?
Except for the Automag in front, its usually the man behind the equipment that counts.
