Hey all, I have an SS centerfeed body and I would like to put on one of those old slip-on Spyder feednecks. Can I just cut of the old top and simply slide the new one over it? Or do I need to modify anything first?

Don't listen to Ando. He cries a little tear and believes an angel gets its wings ripped off everytime someone cuts a stock feedneck.Originally posted by AndoJust tape that crap up. No need for a clamping feedneck.
What feedneck are you using? The Lapco ones are nice as are the Redz. Redz ones are getting tough to find anymore though since they discontinued them a year or so ago.Comment

Considering I hate cats, I might have to start buying up every one that I can find and cut them a little bit at a time.Originally posted by AndoI punt a kitten every time

Bag full of kittens!!!
You know how rare that body is?
In all seriousness as long as someone keeps the basket, it should be a relatively easy process to return cut feenecks to stock length.Comment
