Haha I definitely learned my lesson. I just got very impatient towards the end when I could see I only had a little metal to cut through. That little bit of metal caused the most issues though. Glad we have an awesome community though that's willing to help each other out.

Hey BT good job man that was a real stand up thing to do, your alright in my book.

So has anyone actually used that durafix stuff? I was wondering how it would work not for filling a void but for building up like a weld cap on the surface. I have some aluminum parts that are to thin to really mill out but I wonder if I could build up the metal to get what i wanted instead of cutting into it.

I'd usually charge for stuff like that and I feel that I'm fair. He just really screwed himself on this one and I felt bad.

              PAY IT FORWARD!

that was accually a huge thing here a long time ago, went on for weeks on the buy/sell forums. someone would post something and then someone else would say they want it and they got it free, but then you had to post something that you had for equal value up to give to someone.

and no I myself have never used it but really why would I need it, eh?

Cool thing to do BT! Watch out, you might start getting pm's from other wayward dremelers. Did I mention I had a crappy chimera that needs some love?

Do I get to pick the parts? lol. If/when I get closer to picking this project back up, I'll PM you. I really kinda want to try that torch filler stuff though.

be more then happy for negotiations to happen. I love to tinker. I played today and the refs jaws dropped when I showed up with an old skool automag with an autoresponse trigger and a crown point barrel. Havnt taken pics of this one just put it together yesterday. all the guys at the field with all these new electros gave me this "youre outta your league" look. what pursued was what one of the refs said was "the greatest 1 on 1 fire fight I've ever seen"

the guy with the angel shot through 4 pods to take me out... then left
