The efficiency of your mag is most dependent on the barrel you are using. A control bore of about 10" to 11" without porting is ideal for a level 7 mag. I'm not sure about a level 10 mag.
The average mag operating at less than 100% efficiency (that's most of us since we like our short interchangeable backs and ported barrels) uses about 18.5 ft-lb of air per shot. A 48ci tank holds 18000 ft-lb of air power, 14800 ft-lb which is usable due to the cutoff threshold of about 800psi when a mag no longer fires properly. That gives you about 800 shots per tank fill. That's a hopper and 4 pods.
