I am here to declare that the Automag ball detents that Kila sells are not the correct threading, they will fit but in my opinion not as they should. -
Weird. I had one in a Mag I had a long time ago and it seemed to fit perfectly.Originally posted by El Zilcho View PostI am here to declare that the Automag ball detents that Kila sells are not the correct threading, they will fit but in my opinion not as they should.Comment

Not sure. Got some black ones coming from them, but I'd also like to find red, green and I'm considering possibly pink for my wife...Comment

I just bought that same angel cp detent from ans, it didn't fit at all. Search ans and you will find the cp detents for autococker witch I believe to fit.Comment

Perhaps, it was premature to make a declaration, but I can say that the set that I received were labeled as angel/automag and they were very loose when I tried to thread them in. They eventually did tighten to the point that they would stay in the body. I took one of the detents and it thread perfectly into my Bob Long Defiant. I checked with a second set of detents labeled as angel/automag and they did not fit. I suspect that Kila made a mistake somewhere and confused the angel/cocker threaded detents with the angel/automag threaded detents. I spoke with their customer service rep and they tried to help but I never did get the correct threaded detents.Comment

Ive bought 6 cp detents. Unhappy with them is an understatement. Only product I don't like from them. All 6 detents I had broke, first 2 shot the detent balls out. Heard from a friend to put a oring around em so they don't fit so deep into the body. so I ordered 4 more. Guess what, 3 of em shot the detent balls out again, and the 4th one managed to turn the spring inside sideways...Ive never had any issues with the stock AGD Detents. However I did order 2 kila detents for my VD body and put them in 2 weeks ago. No threading issue with em at all, and everything has been on point.Comment

either the packaging or products got switched, or the body was forcibly cross-threaded for the cocker detents. this happens with angel/ion/ICD threaded feednecks and how they are close to the same threading but a sticker might have come off it.Originally posted by ElecTROkiLLer View PostI just bought that same angel cp detent from ans, it didn't fit at all. the bodies are threaded for Angel detents. when in douct, order from AGD/Tunaman and get the right product. if you happen to have either an Angel or a cocker, you can check them against them, just to be sure.Comment

Mis package might be the case. I tried it on three different ule body's with all the same results. Stock age detents worked fine, only the cp appeared to be incorrect thread.Comment

You wouldn't happen to know if they ever stock colors?Originally posted by Nobody View Postthe bodies are threaded for Angel detents. when in douct, order from AGD/Tunaman and get the right product. if you happen to have either an Angel or a cocker, you can check them against them, just to be sure.Comment

Any color you want as long as its black.Originally posted by Spiritchaser View PostYou wouldn't happen to know if they ever stock colors?Comment

Yeah the AGD detents are the best, but the burn on them is that they're only available in black. An option is to get the RPG Re-Tents (rebuild-able ball detents), and then have the cover anodized whatever color you want.Comment
