AO: We are back from the dead... again! After an 18 day outage, we are finally alive and well. Who knew how complicated updating software/databases from 2008 would be. I still have alot of tweaks to make, but my main goal was getting everything patched and updated to 2026.
Vbulletin 6 has changed alot since 2008 so we will have a ton of new features to dig into.
A standard Minimag body is steel, which can't be anodized. If you have an aluminum XMT Minimag body, it can be. I personally go with Caustic Customs, but there are others companies that also do great work, like Blizzard or FX.
You can have your steel-bodied 'Mags made colorful and patterned through Cerakoting. Look around for local gunsmiths that offer it. It's thinner than powdercoating and similar to the factory black Teflon finish in thickness and durability. They can even coat the polymer powerfeed plug! Ballpark $50-150 but at least you have an option.
Thank you. I have the aluminum body. Bought it quite a few years back from somebody in this forum that was making them according to the results of a design competition also in this forum.

I would still recommend taping off the bottom of the body and the top mating surface of rails (As you would with powdercoating) it is thick enough to cause issues.
