    Can you powdercoat a teflon black body?

    Can this be done? Thanks again.

    I'm not 100% sure if it can be done over the existing black, but I do know that the black can be sanded off and powdercoated or polished to a nice shine fairly easily.

      Most powerder-coating companies will acid dip the piece they are going to coat before they do it (I had the valve cover for my truck coated thats how I know). This removes any impurities and possible paint left behind. I would definately sand it with like 300 grit paper prior to getting it coated in case the acid doesn't destroy the teflon. Strong stuff this teflon be :) If they're nice the may even sandblast it for you. :)

        Before they powdercoat they strip the body of anything on it so you should be fine.
