    Can you powdercoat a teflon black body?

    Can this be done? Thanks again.

    I'm not 100% sure if it can be done over the existing black, but I do know that the black can be sanded off and powdercoated or polished to a nice shine fairly easily.

      Most powerder-coating companies will acid dip the piece they are going to coat before they do it (I had the valve cover for my truck coated thats how I know). This removes any impurities and possible paint left behind. I would definately sand it with like 300 grit paper prior to getting it coated in case the acid doesn't destroy the teflon. Strong stuff this teflon be If they're nice the may even sandblast it for you.

        Before they powdercoat they strip the body of anything on it so you should be fine.
