    How clean was the hole? It seems to me that this rubber wouldn't leave the best hole.

      yeah the hole wsa pretty unclean.. so i took a razor and cut the excess rubber out and then decided to make a bigger cut

        Guys,

        We positioned the plug jack before we decided to go with the DYE grips and yes the grips are hard to cut a hole in. Most people run the wires out from under the grip and to the rev. We are doing a 40+ picture series on how to do the conversion without solder or electric tools. Please stand by!

          Thanks, Tom. I almost bought a soldering iron yesterday, but am now glad I didn't. Other than thoughts of torching my new house with a poorly used iron, I knew that I would screw something up on the roller switch or Revolution board.

          I will now wait patiently.
