    retro valve question

should i get a retro valve? i only shoot around 7-10 bps so is it worth my while to buy one?
We are all like raindrops falling from the sky, eventually landing on this sandy star and drying up from the heat of the sun. Even if protected by a huge umbrella, we never know what tomorrow may bring. Someday we will be blown by the wind and absorbed into the sandy earth. -Trigun

It's up to you... if you already shoot that fast, and you want to shoot faster then I'd get the Retro, the bounce in the trigger helps to achieve a lil higher ROF. Also.. butterfingers has a Retro-mini than can outshoot some electros. I'm pondering the same thing you are.. to Retro or Not to retro!

The only reasons to get it are the reactive trigger and an slight increase in consistency. I, personally, am not going to get one because 1) i don't shoot that fast and have no asperations to, and 2) I already shoot +/-2 fps.

If you're looking to achieve higher rates of fire and you can't do it without the reactive trigger, then maybe you should consider it. The best thing to do is take a few shots on someone else's retromag and see how you like it.

to actually get the trigger to become reactive, u need to have an input pressure between 750-850. also u need to be able to shoot fast enough to even get it to be reactive.

i would say go for it! i like mine a lot

MrMag, your rate of fire has nothing to do with the reactiveness of the trigger. it's solely based on the input pressure.

actually it does. it will still have the bounce to it if u dont shoot that fast, but o actually make it "reactive" u have to be able to shoot it fast enough

Mr Mag, Bartleby has his beliefs and we all must respect them -even if you believe him to be wrong. I on the other hand can attest to the reactive trigger of the Miniretro Mag I sold to Tyson Machado. It'd hit the sweetspot and outshoot my Revvy in a quick minute.
