i was reading the "Questions about a used 68AUTOMAG" thread and was wondering if i have a power tube spring instead of a solid spacer does that mean mine is a level 6 ... and what difference does it make?

No, when the level 7 mags came out they came with the spring. IIRC, it was a couple of years before the spacers started to appear (first as an aftermarket add-on).

Also IIRC, Level 6 mags had the power tube held on with a c-clip.

Spacers allow you to "tweak your trigger" and also help cure leaks down the barrel and also bolt stick. You change them out with a shorter or longer one depending on the problems you're having.

Bolt stick put a longer PT spacer.

Leaks down the barrel put a shorter one in.
