i know it's been done before..but what to get first?

well it's like this.....never one to let anything be, and also knowing that mags are happiest with certain things. time has come for me to be thinking about goodies to buy my mini. currently, stock barrel, CO2 (9oz's at that!) and my 140rnd feeder (last 2 off my phantom)

    where would you go first?
-barrel (i'm thinking this can be left till last....)
    -compressed air/H2
    -revvy

i know all 3 are all recomended/required for best, but where would i get the best bang/buck?

unfortunatly, i'm also going through the same sort of process with the pump unit, and as such, money is tight (hence me asking which one would be best first)

    cheers!

I would get the revvy, then the HPA, then an intelliframe, then a barrel.

well depends on how fast you shoot..if you don't shoot fast, i'd put of the revvy.. i'd sugest barrel. then revvy then hpa
but if you want accuracy first. barrel.. hpa. then revy

you can shoot the classic mag with co2. but once it gets liquid into it.. its alll over
expanion chamber would be a must if you run co2

if an expansion chamber is a must for CO2, and that's a good chunk of the price of a cheap HPA bottle......and still only (at best) a temporary solution.

as implyed, i will end up getting the 3 things, just a matter of which steps to take. at least, because i've got a vert ASA, i can run a CO2 bottle up there without a HUGE fear of liquid. that and the temps are certainly high enough now.

at least i was correct in that the barrel can really be left for last, beoynd that, i'm thinking it's a coin toss or just a good eeny meany miny moe. to decide......

            cheers

well, i'd consider the intelliframe, BUT, i've got a dye one, and i like it, i like it a lot, sure the AGD one might be better......but hey, i like what i've got, and tuna put together a great little unit for me...it just needs the 3 tweeks i was asking about. (ignore the foregrip in the picture, it's an ASA, and the sightrail is removed now too)

anyways, thanks everyone for the opinions, thinking HPA>revvy>barrel(s). or i just leave the phantom as is for now, and do up all 3 for this in one go.....but i dunno; we'll see

I believe you should get a revy, then HPA, then a LEVEL 10 mod, then an Iframe, then a warp. AGD stock barrels are actually as good as they come, they are best on gas and are all you really need, worry about your loading, then your gas, then once your set-up you fine-tune your machine with the trimmings like a level 10 mod, next(from someone who had a DYE frame and Iframe trust me, the Iframe is WAY better, it gives the trigger a WAY nicer feel and is ready for you to inteli feed your hopper or warp) get an Iframe, then either a Retro valve or a warp. by this time, you have got one nasty machine!

I would get a used Revy, then get HPA and a drop. It's the best upgrade you could get for a mag. You need HPA for cold weather play, and warm weather play as well. Then I would get the other stuff.

ummmmmmm , wow i think you are mislead in the way of what a barrel is used for, a barrel improves your accuacy not gas effeciency.... you do know this right? did you type something wrong or are you confused or.....?
