i know it's been done before..but what to get first?

actually he is very well read on the subject. no barrel will give you any accuracy or range advantage over another. it all depends on your paint to bore match and consistency of velocity. and as far as gas efficency goes, the mag barrels lack of porting, and length, makes it extremely efficient.

i would go revvy, then hpa. your vert asa will help keep liquid out and its not cold at all now so u should be fine. the only thing is that u will be shooting hot from the heat, but that shouldnt be too bad, just use a chrony after a game or two

i know barrels do effect effeciency but its hard to find a barrel with less than 8 inchs of barrel before ports , witch i think is what tom recomended in toms tech tips and i also know that a barrel's bore paint determins the accuracy , i own a freak , but what im trying to say is effeciency isnt what you should be looking for in a barrel its the accuracy it provides , determined by the bore size and how well it is polished (such as smartparts polishes thier barrels to perfection) and btw pete different barrel provide different accuacy for ex. my first gun was spyder with stock barrel ,accuarcy sucked , i bought AA smartparts barrel with same bore , shot same paint , accuarcy was noticable improved but you are right about the range barrels dont effect that ,excluding the flatline
