Shot my Blot into my Barrel??

Has anyone ever seen this or done it??

I was playing this last weekend and out of no where my gun stoped working.. upon getting off the field I noticed that my blot was inside of my barrel (used a pool cue to knock it out) What may have caused this all opinions welcome..

    thanks

There was a thread posted on here months ago about the same problem. It's very rare and quite honestly I don't see how it could happen without something breaking(either the back of the bolt or the ring inside your main body) I dunno what else to say. good luck

Well the automag bolt does travel into the barrel during it's cycle, also bolts can be machined at a different outter diameter than that of the inside of the barrel (ask Miscue bout this one)

Anyways if the bolt doesn't fit well, you get problems, that's why it's a good idea to try a new bolt to your barrel before you use it (or vise versa)

I had same problem with L10 bolt and a tight bore barrel. Spring was completely compressed... bolt stuck. Had to tap it out with screw driver and it shot out at 30mph.

Solution: Don't use that barrel. :) If it's getting caught on the tip... you can carefully sand down the tip.

seems that some ppl still use the wire "P" nubbins.. they bend over and cause a jam... course they are shot afterwards.. but
Dunno if this is what happened?

I've had this happen before and like Heat said, it was a wire nubbin causing the problem - I must have bent it into the barrel slightly too far and the bolt caught it and wrapped the whole end round into the barrel, jamming the bolt.

Weird. Sorta sux that if it gets stuck in your barrel you have to get a new barrel, i didn't think it was that tight of a fit. I guess on a very tight bore barrel...
