AO: We are back from the dead... again! After an 18 day outage, we are finally alive and well. Who knew how complicated updating software/databases from 2008 would be. I still have alot of tweaks to make, but my main goal was getting everything patched and updated to 2026.
Vbulletin 6 has changed alot since 2008 so we will have a ton of new features to dig into.
I know it's been asked before but, what's the recharge rate on the standard valve?
Well, if you know the recharge time for the RT, and it's posted everywhere that the recharge time for the RT over the classic valve is 5X's....well take the recharge time for the RT valve and divide it by 5....poof, there's your answer!
LOL I was way off! I guess I shoulda put a question mark next to my number, I pm'ed him and told him it was a estimation with quick math, told him how I came up with it, next time I'll wait for black, lol.
The RT valve recharge is a stated 23ms. Like Rabidus said, it's 5 times faster than the stock valve, so this puts our AIR valve recharge rate up around 115-120ms.
The AIR valve will easily do 16bps with about a 10fps drop.
Yikes! I was thinkin' twice as long. man that's a long time for such a fast shooting gun. those numbers make for alot lower bps. but you say 16 bps is possible with only a 10 fps drop off. if you take 115 msec and add say, 15 msec for discharge, that's about 7.7 bps. so you double it and it only gets a 10 fps drop off? so at 12 bps maybe you would only get a 5 fps drop off?
would increasing input psi to the gun have any effect on the recharge rate?
Since the RT recharges off of input pressure, the recharge rate of the valve will be affected, but in the AIR valve the air is regulated before it goes into the dump chamber, so recharge rate really doesn't matter.
