Cutting powerfeed?

I disagree that that would happen...but whatever. If you cut it 3/4" or so you'd have 1 less ball in the stack. Depends on your loader and shooting style too. It also ruins your chances of routing a warp hose up through the bottom of the PF, unless u chopped it down to a warp body.

Hmmm. Sorry to hear that someVWkid. I cut about 3/4" of my powerfeed and I've never had problems with misfeeding or chopping. Helps the guns balance too.
Skunk - If you do decide to cut your pf just make real sure you grind the tube end perfecly flat. A vertical belt sander would be really helpful. If theres just a slight uneveness your elbow with sit crooked and may cause feed problems. When I did mine I lightly sanded the rim of the tube to make sure there were no little metal burrs to catch the paintball shells on the inside or scratch the inside of my elbow. Hope that helps you make a decision.

you can cut a std. feed, you must of had a bad cut, you have to sand left over metal scrapings off the edges or it will slice the paint.

nervous?
if you are nervous, dont bother. AGD put a bit of effort into keeping their design up to date for 10 years or so of their gun being a high end marker. if they didnt do it, i doubt u need to. i doubt its worth the risk, assuming there is a risk. its your call, but me sez no.

Chop it
I've chopped all of mine and they work fine. If AGD made it that way its the way its suppose to be, give me a freaken break! It'll chop, wake up. 3 chopped powerfeeds and 1 classic all work just fine."PLAY HARD OR GO HOME!"

Nothing to be nervous about. Just plan ahead, use the right tools and don't rush it and you'll be cool.
It needs to be done carelfully but its by no means brain surgery.
