I use an old style All American for my 'Mag which I believe has a bore size of .689 (Correct me if I'm wrong on that please). I shoot Big Ball and PMI Premiums 95% of the time. Usually, it's a good fit which leads to great precision.
The problem comes in the winter, yeah...right about now. The balls roll down my SP AA due to the fact that they shrink in cold weather.
I would buy a freak, but I don't need that many inserts being that I shoot the same paint all the time, plus I lack the appropriate funding right now. I thought about just getting a front, back, and the inserts that I need, but I don't know which inserts those would be.
Right now, I'm probably going to get a Lapco Autospirit which is .687. My question is, do you think that's enough of a drop in ID to cover the cold weather shrinkage???
Thanks,
Nathan
