Just get a very solid and sharp knife and press down slowly against a solid tabletop or benchtop or even a cutting board. Try not to let the macro roll under the blade or you run the risk of a sloppy cut and cutting your fingers.

            straight Blade razor

I always use a straight blade razor, just put the line on a flat surface and push down to cut a nice clean edge. $3 for a 5 pack at home depot. I use them for weeding vinyl. I have a sign shop at my house.

When cutting macro, I have always used a hacksaw with a very fine toothed blade. It works great.
              My feedback is available here.

I use sharp wire cutters. It went straight through the macro without any problems.

Hacksaw or a ginsu bread knife. Then clean with razor if need be. But I don't have to do it often...

                    no

Tuna's Macro cutter...OR a Razor/ExactO knife. DONT use a hacksaw or wire cutters...that will not leave nearly as clean edges
